Current Position:

I began my career at Levelland High School in 2008.  I have really enjoyed being here.  The high school has a fabulous atmosphere, and I look forward to coming to work and being a part of all the high school has to offer.

Previous Position:

I have taugh in several other schools as well.  I did my students teaching at a very small school in Dora, NM.  I taugh 7th, 9th, and 11th grade English, yearbook, newspaper, and journalism.  It was a fabulous experience that I am so glad I have.  I have also taught in Texico, NM and Bovina, TX.  Before becoming part of the LHS staff, I spend 5 years in Clovis, NM.

The experiences that impact my teaching most are having several teachers in my family.  I have also gained valueable experience from my years of teaching.  I also have a total of six kids.  They impact my teaching more than they know because I use them to guide my classroom management and style.  I try to treat every students as though they are my own child.

Family Information:

My husband, Donovan, and I married in October of 2010.  We had the priviledge of joining his four children with my two children, and we have an amazing blended family.  Our kid's ages range from 22-7.  Dustin and Shane both attend Texas A&M Univeristy - Corpus Christi.  Both boys are engineering majors, and Dustin also has a Marine Biology major.  Upon graduating in May 2015, Dusting will enter into the Navy's Nuclear Propulsion Officer Training Program.  It is a very prestigious organization, and we are so proud of all he has accomplished in my life thus far.  Holli is a junior here at LHS where she competes in varisty volleyball, varisty powerlifting, and varisty track.  Grant is a sophomore at Levelland high school.  He competets in football, powerlifting, and track.  Reed will be in 5th grade and competes in football and baseball.  He also completes acadmically in UIL, DI, and the spelling bees.  Tripp will be in 2nd grade and competes in soccer and baseball, and he will also play football this year.

We have two dogs, Sky and Morgan.

Personal Information:

When I am not teaching I love to have friends over to cook out and visit.  I love to shop, read, and swim.
