LHS’s Mrs. Lorena Sanchez and Mr. Scott Lawson have been challenging students with fun trivia questions about Hockley County and Levelland on the TVs in the Commons. The goal? Answer five questions correctly and bring your answers to the library! The activity’s name, “Dum Dum Trivia,” is a clever play on words. It’s not for dummies at all, but designed to make students smarter! Each time a student answers a question correctly, they earn a Dum Dum sucker. Congratulations to Bill Bentley, the first student to answer all five questions correctly! He received a special prize for his accomplishment. LHS sends out a big thank-you to Mr. Lawson and Mrs. Sanchez for encouraging students to pay attention to the announcement screens, research their answers, and enjoy the Library & Technology services in a fun new way!
