The LHS JV Pack tennis team took the court in the annual Lobo Invitational tournament in Levelland in the icy weather. After a delayed start to the day, Coach Braziel is proud to announce that many of our players came away with medals. Alex Salinas was the boy's singles runner-up, losing in a tough match against a great All Saints Player. Meekness Childers would once again finish the tournament as the girl's singles Champion. Topping a player from Greenwood in the finals 8-6. Dany Muniz and Kassidy Padilla took third place beating Seminole 8-5. Alazeah Diaz and Saydee Vargas go home as the consolation champs in girl's doubles. Auzsha Mathis did not medal but would finish fourth in girl's singles as well. Coach Braziel tells, "the team finished third overall in the team score. We saw a ton of great things from each and every player today, we fought through several tough matches. As coaches, we couldn't be more proud of this group of athletes." You're in the right place!
