Emma Kent Going to Rodeo Finals!

LHS Senior Emma Kent qualified for State at the Texas High School Rodeo Finals in Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, and Goat Tying. The State Finals will take place in Abilene on June 5-11. Emma is a member of Region II Rodeo and will compete against the top 100 contestants at State for each event. The top 10 contestants in events qualify for the State Finals. Emma was the Reserve Champion Goat Tier for Region II. The top 4 contestants in each event at the State Finals will advance to the National Finals in Gillette, Wyoming in July! Good Luck Emma! This is so exciting and you're going to have a busy summer before you head off to HSU!
