Men's Choir Performs at ENMU

LHS Choir Director Amy Bayers shares that the men in our LHS choir attended the 7th Annual Men’s Choir Festival at Eastern New Mexico State University last week. This was a wonderful opportunity for men from throughout New Mexico & West Texas to explore the joys of singing men’s choir repertoire. The music, which the men received upon arrival, included bass & tenor solos (sung as a voice class), & three ensemble selections, Beati Mortui arranged by Reginal Wright, Let the River Run arranged by Craig Hella Johnson, & Steal Away arranged by Stacey Gibbs. With approximately 4 hours practice, the choir performs the music they worked on for the day. The festival was under the direction of Dr. Jason Paulk, Professor of Music, Director of Choral Activities, Eastern New Mexico University #ExpectExcellence #LevellandISD
