Cross-Country Wins!

Levelland Cross Country spent Saturday at the Slaton Invitational & the Lobos & Loboettes put 5 runners in the top 15 & won the meet with just 40 total points. Ariani Lopez took the top spot in 14:38. LHS got a fifth place finish from Ciara Sanchez in 15:52 while Kaydence Escarcega ran ninth, Evelyn Mendias in 12th and Tea Johnson in 13th to round out five in the top 15. Our LHS Lobos also got 5 in the top 15 as Ryan Jeannert ran second at 17:00. Ethan Lozano would run fifth for the Lobos at 18:05, while Zayden Carillo ran eighth, Cayden Medina added tenth, RJ Lopez tapped an 11th place finish, & Gavin French grabbed 12th for the Lobos. The Cross Country season continues on Saturday as they make the short trek to Sundown for the 2022 Oil Patch Invitational. We wish you the best! (Story courtesy KLVT Radio).
