Welding!

Our LHS Welding class was caught putting their mathematical skills to use while designing, engineering and welding together a circular, symmetrical Christmas Tree. Even though there were several welding projects going on at the same time, welding teacher Mr. Cody Spies was on hand at all times for hands-on learning. He made his students think through math they've learned in class and put it to use to make the Metal Tree look right! Thank you, Mr. Spies, for teaching our kids a skill that will enable them to have a career after high school!
