All-State Band!

LHS Band Director John Barry and Assistant Band Director Matthew Tolentino send out a huge congratulations to the following band members on competing at the All-State Band Auditions this week. These auditions compete with the whole of West Texas from the North of the panhandle all the way south to El Paso. We are so proud of these students for competing with the best of the best and performing at such a high level! Congratulations to these nine students on making the All-State Band:Isabelle Romero, 13th Chair Flute, Alvaro Loza, 18th Chair Flute, Michelle Bustillos, 20th Chair Flute, Val Esparza, 34th Chair Clarinet, Sam Young, 9th Chair Clarinet, River Castillo, 6th Chair Alto Saxophone, Ada Niederhauser, 12th Chair French Horn, Emma Pugh, 20th Chair Trombone, and Nik Macias, 16th Euphonium.
