LHS Band Success!

LHS Band Direct John Barry and Assistant Band Director Matthew Tolentino send congratulations to the Lobo Bands who competed at the UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluation at Sundown this week. The Concert Band received a 2nd Division "Excellent" rating on their Concert and a 1st Division "Superior" rating on their sightreading performance. The Varsity Symphonic Band earned a "Straight 1s" Sweepstakes and earned a 1st Division "Superior" Rating in both Concert and Sightreading! That combined with their 1st Division in Marching Band Season earns them a UIL 3-Event Sweepstakes, which is the highest achievement a varsity UIL band can achieve in a school year. Please congratulate these students and Directors when you see them! Way to go!
