Lone Star Varsity Super Team

LHS Softball Coach sends out congratulations to these three young ladies for being selected to the Lone Star Varsity Softball Super Team. Chloe Constantino and Saydi Mendez were selected to the First Team and Natalie Coronado was selected to the Second Team. Chloe Constantino, Sr., catcher, was named District 5-4A defensive MVP, hitting .566 on the year with 14 home runs, 44 RBI, 43 runs, 14 doubles, seven triples and a .925 fielding percentage. Saydi Mendez, So., outfielder, earned District 5-4A newcomer of the year after hitting .516 with 48 hits, 44 runs, 27 RBI, 15 doubles, three homers and swiping 33 bases. And Natalie Coronado, Sr., utility, hit for a .512 average with 44 hits, 44 RBI, 16 doubles, 12 home runs and five triples with a .833 fielding percentage. (LubbockAJ) Wow! Congratulations ladies!
