LISD Student Advisory Committee

LISD Superintendent Becky McCutchen, along with Director of Curriculum & Special Programs Donna Pugh and LHS Principal Dr. Matthew Birdwell hosted the first Student Advisory Committee meeting at LHS today. This committee is formed so that student input can be heard and considered on all matters of importance. These students represent LHS and nearly every other organization on campus, making this committee have a strong voice. Even in this first meeting, these students were not shy to communicate ideas, information, and concerns that they thought would continue to improve LISD. This committee will meet monthly to accomplish tasks and make things happen! Congratulations to these awesome LHS Leaders!
