Dr. Tori Hall visited Mrs. Katie Pena's LHS College Readiness classes to speak to them about being ready for college. Dr. Hall teaches Microbiology at SPC. She spoke to students about learning strategies and metacognition. She began with the Neuroscience of Learning and explained how the brain works to learn. She continued by discussing learning strategies and studying strategies. Dr. Hall explained the importance of sleep and good nutrition which both support good learning.
