Solo & Ensemble Choir News!

LHS Choir Director Amy Bayer is thrilled to tell you that LHS had a lot of students participate in Solo & Ensemble at Frenship High School this year. She says, "thirteen soloists and five ensembles performed. Students are given a rating based on their performance. The possible ratings are 1 (superior), 2 (excellent), 3 (good), 4 (below average), and 5 (poor). Our kids did a fantastic job and received superior and excellent ratings! In order to qualify for Texas State Solo & Ensemble, the students must sing a class 1 solo or ensemble by memory and receive a rating of 1. The State Contest is over Memorial Day Weekend in Austin, TX."
