DAR Good Citizen Honor!

LHS is so proud to recognize Senior Grason Edens for being a DAR Good Citizen! He was recognized at a DAR Good Citizen reception in Lubbock. This award recognizes and rewards high school seniors who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. Grason demonstrates these qualities to an outstanding degree. Once selected as a DAR Good Citizen, Grason won third place in the Scholarship Contest by writing a personal statement and an essay for the prompt, "What are the civic responsibilities of a good citizen and why are these duties, activities and behaviors important to the shaping of the America you hope to experience?" Grason has participated in Academic UIL while at LHS and is active in National Honor Society as the Vice President and in Young Emerging Leaders of Levelland as the Vice President of Membership. Grason, we wish you the best as you graduate and head on to SPC for further education before moving on to Texas Tech University to Major in Biology!
