YELL Cords, Scholarships & Officers

The Levelland Chamber of Commerce held the YELL Cords Ceremony, 2025-2026 Officer Elections, and gave three $1,000 scholarships to students completing the YELL expectations and requirements today. The Chamber is proud of this biggest class of Young Emerging Leaders of Levelland earning their cords this year. To earn YELL cords this year, seniors had to sign a contract, attend four meetings, complete three YELL community service projects, and complete a Keep Levelland Beautiful Clean-Up. Congratulations to Matthew Almager, Joleen Caballero, Addisen Campbell, Max Chapa, Mia Flores, Cassandra Franco, Galilea Hernandez, Ryan Jeanneret, Tea Johnson, Hector Larrea, Alvaro Loza, Cathy Luna, Cailey McKay, Ibbett Moreno, Ethan Parkinson, Emily Perez, Gage Potter, Emily Ramirez, Giselle Reyes, Sydney Rodriguez, Madelis Romero and Jazlynn Williams. The three $1,000 Scholarship recipients are Ryan Jeanneret, Alvaro Loza and Emily Ramirez. Funds for the scholarships are earned through the YELL DuckPluck Scholarship Fundraiser and chosen by Chamber Board members. And finally, the 2025-2026 Officers were elected! Micheal Canon was elected President. Vice President is Nathan Ellis. Brady Houston is the VP of Public Relations. Ada Niederhauser was voted in as VP of Social Media. Melody Demel is the VP of Membership and the VP of Community Service is Fabiola Hernandez. Krystal Bunker completes the Officers as part of the Leadership Team. Congratulations to all these students learning to be our Leaders of Levelland.
