The LHS freshman students in Coach Kendall Durrett's health class finished their year with CPR training. Emergency Medical Technician Bill Brown came and did CPR training with the LHS students, which we hope they won't have to use. They learned that giving CPR dramatically increases the chances of survival for someone experiencing cardiac arrest. CPR helps maintain blood flow to vital organs, especially the brain, until professional medical help arrives. We love that our EMS personnel come into our schools to teach our students. We appreciate the community support!
