FFA Week: SAEs

It's FFA Week and the Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program involves practical agricultural activities performed by students outside of scheduled classroom and laboratory time. SAEs provide a method in agricultural education for students to receive real-world career experiences in an area of agriculture that they are most interested in. There are six types of SAE's, Foundational, Placement/Internship, Ownership/Entrepreneurship, Research, School-Based, and Service Learning. Levelland FFA members are involved in a variety of SAEs and are learning real-world work experiences while doing so. SAE's are the background of numerous awards in the FFA Organization and an integral part of the 3 Circle Model.
