Pigs in the Classroom!

LHS students in Miss Lindsey Brown and Miss D'Nae Wilson's Pre-Veterinary Medicine Class enjoyed learning about the Kunekune domestic pig. Sarah Oden brought the pig to class to teach students about a rural environment breed of pig. This pig's name means fat and round. They usually live on small farms, odorless, quiet, and are friendly with children. Miss Oden taught the students about their habitat, their veterinary care and vaccinations, and their eating habits. There were even some LHS teachers that were so intrigued they stopped by to learn too! This pre-vet class always has the most fun learning
