LHS students attended an assembly to learn about new laws that might pertain to them. Officer Korey Foley, Police Chief Albert Garcia, Sheriff Ray Scrifres, and Officer Brian Haralson presented information reminding students that their decisions affect the rest of their lives. They reminded kids to watch who they are talking to on social media platforms and that there are people out there watching them. They reminded students that photos published can never be fully retrieved and can come back to haunt you. They discussed misdemeanors, felonies, and the criminal justice system. Most of all their message was to think about what you're doing and be your best every day at everything. You're in the right place!
