Egg Baby Project

LHS students in Mrs. Monica Gonzales' class experienced the challenges of taking care of an egg baby (yes raw) for the weekend.  Students had to take their egg baby home safely, guard it all weekend and get it back to school on Monday.  Students learned responsibility and compassion.  One student designed a Halloween Costume for his egg, and another made a crib for cuddling his egg. They discussed leaving school or a hospital with a child seat, feeding the baby, and sleep!  Although every egg didn't make it back to LHS without a crack, Mrs. Gonzales was happy that her students learned about responsibility and the fragility of life.  You're in the right place!
