LHS students in Mrs. Priscella Garza's Cultural Linguistics classes have been studying Mexico's Day of the Dead. This lively celebration helps families honor their fallen ancestors. Rituals include lighting candles so their ancestors find their way back, eating feasts, and understanding that death is a part of life through dancing skeletons.
