BeeMazing Field Trip

LHS students in Mrs. Monica Gonazales' class enjoyed an engaging field trip last week to the Ahava Honey Farm, owned by Keith and Christine Mitchell. Students learned about bees, their habitats, and why they are important to our ecosystem. Students were taught many things about various kinds of bees, from their habits to life spans, and from their duties to rescuing bees where they aren't wanted. The field trip included preparing food for and visiting the farm animals at the Bee Farm. It concluded with lunch at Mosaics, a magic show from Mr. Mitchell, and the making of a Christmas Angel Ornament. It was a great day that will be a highlight of the year! You're in the right place!
