1940s in the Library

LHS librarian Tracy Barker is continuing to increase circulation and history knowledge in her library. This month she transformed her library into the 1940s. Mrs. Barker and Mrs. Angie Mohon from Lobo Tech dressed up at Rosie the Riveter. Rosie was a 1940's cultural icon of WWII, representing the women who worked in factories and shipyards, producing munitions and war supplies. They replaced the male workers who were away in the military. They are joined by President Franklin D Roosevelt. Thank you, Mrs. Barker, for making your library inviting and educational! You're in the right place!
