Tuba Christmas!

On Sunday, December 5th, tuba and euphonium players from the LHS Lobo Band participated in Texas Tech’s annual Tuba Christmas. This year was the second-largest Tech Tuba Christmas with 70 total players in attendance. Participating members included Gage Campos, Gavin Doshier, Eduardo Melendez, Rustin Pence, Chase Pickering, and Eli Randol. Also among the ensemble were band directors John Barry and Gary Owens and Lobo Band alumnus Spencer Owens. Tuba Christmas is a wonderful holiday tradition for low brass players around the local area to gather together and make some festive cheer with holiday music. We send a huge shout out to these kids for giving up their Sunday afternoon to go learn brand new music and perform it over the span of 3 hours. You're in the right place!
