CTE Month: Certified Nursing Assistant

As we share our outstanding CTE courses, we focus on LHS students in Mrs. Joan Sanders' Health Science Practicum/Certified Nursing Assistant class. These students are learning what it takes to be a nursing assistant by actively engaging in theory and skills practice that will prepare them to earn a certification as a Nursing Assistant. After practicing personal skills such as nail care, oral care, denture care, hair care, and shaving, students enter into clinicals to demonstrate the necessary skills it takes to move on in the medical healthcare provider field.
