Levelland High School

LHS students were caught in Mr. Bucky Demel's physics class, engaged in a fun, real-world engineering challenge. They used their engineering skills to design and test catapults. They applied learned scientific concepts using force and motion, the transfer of energy, and projectile motion. After launching their marshmallows and conducting some trial and error, they applied their problem-solving and mathematical skills to collect and analyze their data. This was a fun way to get into the concepts of physics! Thank you, Mr. Demel!
