YELL

Young Emerging Leaders of Levelland met yesterday for their beginning-of-the-year meeting. YELL President Micheal Canon conducted the meeting and introduced all the expectations of YELL. YELL is a student-led club, sponsored by the Levelland Chamber of Commerce, that challenges students to take charge of their lives while giving back to our community by becoming better leaders. Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors learn to become effective leaders by learning from different speakers throughout the year and they manage the annual DuckPluck Fund Raiser that provides at least three $1,000 Senior scholarships each year. YELL members also elected three sophomore representatives today. YELL Officers are President Micheal Canon, Vice-President Nathan Ellis, VP of PR Brady Houston, VP of Social Media Ada Niederhauser, and VP of Community Service Fabiola Hernandez. Other YELL representatives are Melodie Demel and Krystal Bunker. Sophomore representatives elected today are Chase Eller, Kaylee Gray, and Paula Castellanos. Congratulations to all the YELL members who are going to learn to be better leaders this year.
