LHS students in Mrs. Kristy Kristinek’s Art II, III, and IV classes had a special opportunity to learn from guest speaker Tanja Hagy-Valdine from the Texas Tech University School of Art. Ms. Hagy-Valdine shared valuable insights into degree programs in art, career possibilities in the creative field, and exciting art opportunities available in and around the Lubbock area. She also brought some fun goodies for our young artists to take home! We send out a big thank you to Mrs. Kristinek for connecting our students with professionals who can inspire and guide their artistic futures. This kind of real-world engagement helps students envision a future driven by their passion.
