Mr. Hill's LHS entrepreneur class has been busy researching an entrepreneur of their choice. Students identified a successful businessperson of interest, conducted a research project, and presented their findings. Did you know that HEB is really the founder's child's initials? Did you know that Kendra Scott's jewelry business began with her making hats for chemotherapy patients? Did you know that the founder of Bucees, Arch Aplin, was known by the nickname "Beaver" when growing up and that's how he came up with his mascot and store name? The classes learned many fun facts as these presentations came to fruition. It's a great day to be learning in LISD!
