Imagery

LHS English II students recently explored the power of imagery through interactive sensory stations. Each station invited students to engage one of the five senses, helping them experience firsthand how vivid details can bring writing to life. After rotating through the stations, students reflected on their experiences in a group discussion about imagery in literature and their own work. To close the lesson, they crafted short pieces of writing that captured what they had seen, heard, touched, tasted, and smelled: putting their new insights into practice.
