Levelland ISD loves that our teachers are lifelong learners! They're always eager to explore new strategies to help students succeed! We have to brag on LHS English teacher Mrs. Lilian Northcutt. She recently met with Rachel Calabrese, the lead curriculum designer at Quill.org, to discuss vertical alignment for Quill’s upcoming curriculum launch. During their meeting, Mrs. Northcutt previewed the new English I materials and provided valuable feedback, including suggestions for additional content such as a review pack to help prepare students for success. The conversation also focused on how Quill’s program can better align with STAAR assessments and support the development of essential writing and grammar skills across grade levels. We’re excited about this partnership with Quill.org and the ways it will strengthen student learning and promote academic growth year after year.
