Levelland High School

Levelland ISD students were successful at the Hockley County Stock Show yesterday. Stock showing is a great way for students to learn responsibility, discipline, sportsmanship, work ethic, and communication skills while building strong family connections and forming new friendships along the way. There is always a lot to learn from showing animals and exhibits each year, and this year proved no different. Our kids came away with a Grand Champion barrow (Mattie Buxkemper) and Reserve Grand Champion barrow (Jayton Madewell), three Breed Champions, and one reserve breed champion. They also brought home7 first-place ribbons, 8 second-place ribbons, 4 third-place ribbons, and more. Congratulations to all of our LISD students participating in the stock show! We are always proud of your hard work and look forward to seeing what you do in the majors!
