Debate Team Coach Mr. Joshua Ballard says, "It’s especially impressive to see these student 'movers and shakers' putting in the work both at school and at home to prepare their cases. Cross Examination Debate isn’t easy because it takes hours of research, organization, teamwork, and the confidence to engage in fast-paced, hour-long arguments. Winning rounds this year shows just how much they’ve grown since last season! Even more exciting is that they’re finishing the year feeling prepared and motivated to compete again next year. Experience makes a huge difference in debate, and this group is clearly building a strong foundation for future success." Mr. Ballard and LHS have every reason to be proud!
