Happy Meal Anyone?

Did you know about 20% of McDonald’s sales come from Happy Meals? Did you know that around 1.5 billion toys are given out every year? That’s more than some of the biggest toy companies in the world!
LHS Students in Mr. Hill’s Principles of Business, Marketing, and Finance classes took on a fun challenge:
Create the ultimate kid-friendly meal promotion without using McDonalds!
Students had to think like real marketing teams and design:
A target audience
A kid-approved meal
A collectible toy idea
A pop-culture or celebrity partnership
A custom meal box design
The classroom quickly turned into a creative marketing studio! Students sketched logos, debated toy ideas, and researched what would make kids and parents excited to buy their product. Along the way, they learned how businesses use branding, consumer behavior, product design, and promotions to drive sales. What was their one big takeaway? Sometimes the smallest thing in the box (the toy) can make the biggest impact. This was a fun lesson that will turn our students into future marketing pros!
