Coach Braziel and Lawson share that our LHS Tennis Team had a great week playing in some tough tournaments last weekend! Our JV traveled to Big Spring where we had several athletes compete in medal matches! In our Girls doubles we had Brynlee Montgomery and Payton Barton playing Abril Perez and Kimberly Chavira Campos in the Consolation Finals. In our Girls singles, we had Elena Guajardo becoming the Consolation Champion! On the Varsity side of things we traveled to Amarillo for the Amarillo Relays where met and competed against tough 5A and 6A teams. Nathan Ellis would secure a consolation Championship in the Gold Boys Singles Bracket and Angelina Rivera and Isabel Canales would secure a 3rd place in the Open Girls Doubles bracket. Coach Braziel says, "We are extremely proud of all our athletes this week and will continue to gain hardware next week in Snyder! Let’s go Pack!"
