HOSA Convention

LHS HOSA students recently attended the State Convention celebrating 50 years of HOSA, where they had the opportunity to connect with other future healthcare professionals from across the state. Representing our school were Daniella Martinez, Hailyn Grant, Kamilah Baeza, Krystal Bunker, Seren Zapata, Kaylee Gray, and Jazzlyn Cervantez. During the convention, students participated in competitive events, attended leadership sessions, and gained valuable insight into careers in the healthcare field. Events like this allow students to strengthen their skills, build confidence, and continue preparing for future careers in healthcare. Daniella Martinez placed 9th in Medical Spelling. Krystal Bunker received the Theodora Y Justice Memorial Scholarship for $675. And while at the convention, Hailyn Grant found out that she has been accepted to the Covenant School of Nursing, and she starts in August! We are proud of these students for representing Levelland ISD and continuing to grow as the next generation of healthcare leaders!
