PCT-A Certifications
These students are walking across the stage with more than a diploma! They earned their Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (PCT-A) certification and are stepping confidently into the healthcare field. Through Mrs. Anitra Loa's intensive program, which blends rigorous classroom instruction with hands-on clinical internships, these students have gained real-world experience and developed a powerful, well-rounded medical skill set. Mrs. Loa says, "By graduation, they have mastered a true “Swiss Army Knife” of healthcare skills, including:
Venipuncture & Phlebotomy – demonstrating precision and confidence in blood collection
Electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG) – monitoring and interpreting heart function and activity
Wound Care & Catheterization – providing critical patient care and support during recovery
Vital Sign Monitoring – serving as an early-warning system by tracking blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature
