We have a Friday High Five! We are so proud of Anitra Loa for earning the incredible honor of being named the Area 4 Outstanding New Teacher by the Texas Health Occupations Association! This recognition celebrates so much of what makes Mrs. Loa special. THOA recognized her dedication to Health Science Education through her own professional growth, the leadership she develops in her students, the career opportunities she creates for them, her mentorship of fellow educators, & her involvement in our community. Mrs. Loa believes in her students and she expects them to believe in themselves, too. She sets the bar high for her HOSA & Health Science students, helping them discover their purpose, encouraging them to work hard, earn valuable certifications, develop leadership skills, & graduate from LHS ready to take that next big step into college, a career, & the world beyond our halls.
