In Mr. Hill’s LHS Business classes, students started the year off by thinking about something that matters in every classroom, workplace & community — RESPECT! Inspired by a district training from last year, Mr. Hill asked his students a simple question: “What does respect look like?” Students shared their ideas, worked together to create a list & then turned their words into a classroom poster they can see every day. We love that these expectations didn’t just come from the teacher, but they came from the students! When students have a voice in creating the culture of their classroom, they’re helping make it a place where everyone can Find Their Place, Discover Their Purpose & Create Their Future.
