Our Levelland FFA is Growing Leaders at Area 1 Greenhand Leadership Conference! Levelland FFA took a great group of freshmen to the Area 1 Greenhand Leadership Conference, where they spent the day learning, connecting & discovering all the opportunities FFA has to offer!

So, what is a Greenhand? A Greenhand is a first-year FFA member who is beginning their journey in agricultural education & FFA. But being a Greenhand is about much more than agriculture - it’s the first step toward developing leadership skills, building confidence, making new friends, serving your community & discovering talents that can open doors for the future.

Throughout the conference, our students participated in activities focused on FFA values, teamwork, communication, leadership & career-ready skills they can use in school, future jobs & everyday life.

We send out a special congratulations goes to Ky DeArmond, who earned not one, but TWO group awards for Job Interview Skills & WT’s Icebreaker/Teamwork Workshop! Way to represent Levelland FFA, Ky!

FFA has a place for everyone - whether your interests are animals, plants, mechanics, public speaking, leadership, business, science or simply trying something new. You don’t have to grow up on a farm to belong in FFA!
