Lubbock Christian University Assistant Professor Jerry Jerabek made a special visit to LHS this morning to recognize Ms. Lillan Jimenez as the 2026 EDICUT Preservice Teacher of the Year! Mr. Jerabek surprised Ms. Jimenez in front of her colleagues and presented her with a plaque honoring this outstanding achievement. What a special way to celebrate an educator who chose her career to help students find their place! We are proud to have Ms. Jimenez as an English teacher at LHS and she is off to a great start! Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
