This is something worth celebrating! LHS Choir Director Joshua Ballard shares "Over the past several years, our LHS Choir has averaged about five students earning a spot in the Region Choir. This year, twelve LHS singers earned a place!"

To understand just how big this accomplishment is, students competed against dozens of talented singers in their individual voice parts, and only the Top 14 chairs advanced to Region Choir. These students have put in countless hours learning and practicing difficult music since the beginning of summer, often working independently outside of class. Most also spent 13+ hours on Saturday going through a very challenging audition process. Some of our students accomplishing this are even brand new to choir!
