Cooks in the Kitchen

There's more cooking than just delicious food in Mrs. Oaks' Culinary Arts program at Levelland High School! Our students are cooking up confidence, leadership, and skills that will last a lifetime! Our LHS Culinary Arts students stepped out of the kitchen and into the role of teachers at the 4-H Club's Food Project meeting! They had the opportunity to share skills they've learned in class while teaching and mentoring younger students. What an incredible experience to see our students take what they've learned and confidently pass that knowledge on to the next generation of young chefs! This is what makes Career and Technical Education (CTE) so valuable! Mrs. Oaks isn't just teaching students how to cook. She's preparing them to communicate, lead, work with others, and develop real-world skills that can open doors to future careers. We are so proud of these young LHS chefs for showing that they've not only mastered new skills but are ready to share them with others! Thank you, Mrs. Oaks for helping students find their place!
